What is Cattex?
Cattex is high-absorptive pad for cat litters. The main composition is super absorbent, built-in between two layers of impregnated materials. The function is to absorb urine, to reduce the spreading of unpleasant smell.
How does it work?
The principle of Cattex function is the same as with panty liners or baby diapers- at the contact of hydrophilic layer with urine the process of diffusion starts.The diffusion leads the urine into the interior, where the super absorbent is. It absorbs the urine very rapidly.The lower hydrophobic layer prevents any possible leaking. At the same time, the fibers prevent Cattex to be damaged by the sand. So there is no threat of any contamination.
